My name is Duncan Way. I am an active 26-year police veteran assigned as a full time Forensic Artist. I am an IAI certified and a pencil artist specializing in hyper realism work. I'm the founder of FASElinks.
FASElinks was founded in 2013 with my first class being hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada. It has since grown into a training academy that offers comprehensive and dynamic Classes with hands on instruction covering topics such as the Composite Drawing and Interview, Adult Age Progression and Post Mortem 2D approximations; all working with tradition methods of pencil drawing.
FASElinks (pronounced FACE-links) is a new idea based on an old concept. The name comes from an acronym for Forensic Artist Skills Enhancement or 'FASE' ; and the idea of a 'network' or 'links' to other forensic artists and training. Together, they make 'FASElinks'.
​The FASElinks mission is to provide a forum for comprehensive & skilled training, in which Forensic Artists are encouraged to share concepts, ideas, skills, resources, and experiences with other forensic artists. All through through our exciting, fun, and informative workshop-classes.

FASElinks offers an opportunity to attend these workshop classes at an affordable rate. Thats part of my mandate. Classes are hosted by both police agencies and academic institutions. FASElinks workshop-classes are unlike anything you've ever attended. They are designed to teach specifically to aspects of Forensic Art. The key is that the attendee can manage their own skill development.
The instruction at FASElinks Workshops focuses on Composite Drawings, Police Composite Interviews, Adult Aging and Age Progression Drawing, Processes of Death & Post Mortem 2D Drawing, and general advanced drawing techniques and skills.
